Are you someone who sees beauty everywhere?
You might just be an aesthete.
Aesthetic means the pleasant, positive, or artful appearance of a person or a thing. Put simply: your aesthetic is your personal “look.” It's how you approach things, what you perceive as beautiful and compelling.
Beauty is defined as a quality in something or someone that gives pleasure to the senses, or satisfaction to the mind and spirit. Humans like pretty and shiny design; they often desire it much more than function. We enjoy looking at and using aesthetically pleasing design because it satisfies our senses, it gives us pleasure.
Through the techniques of aestheticism, one can learn to see beauty everywhere. Aestheticism is the practice of looking at everything as if it were art. There is also no “right way” to practice aestheticism.
Everyone has an aesthetic, find yours.
