ALWAYS...find a reason to laugh...at the situation, yourself, the realness of life, and the silliness of your loved ones/friends.
Kids find the simplest things absolutely hilarious...like an infant that contagiously belly laughs at peekaboo or my son laughing at fart jokes (okay I may also find humor in loud bodily functions). Laughing is good for the soul AND actually helps release endorphins that our body uses for healing, pain management, and mood. I remember trying laughing yoga at a university education retreat for nurses and at the time though it was the craziest, most observed thing BUT maybe there really was something to it....I certainly laughed at the poses we got into and the ummm, the noises heard as we inhaled deeply and then exhaled laughter and well other noises from varying parts 😲 Seriously, laughter is magic to the mood, burns calories, and tones those abs and who doesn't want some of that!?! So get out there and laugh at life AND yourself because You Deserve It😊 Cindy Fehr RN(NP)
