Starting and growing (a business, a career, a family, a relationship, etc. ) is about drive, determination, innovation, and willingness to be vulnerable by taking risks and embracing change. Embrace change because it is inevitable but it does not always need to be intimidating or overwhelming. Sure, some change will come with challenges, but it can also lend to creativity and positive evolution.

If you are a control freak like me, it can be hard to embrace change and uncertainty...BUT it can also create a growth environment. Instead of focusing on the challenge, dream about the ways around, through, or over the obstacle. You may not be able to 'control' everything, but you can control your attitude and approach when obstacles and roadblocks come your way. Sometimes it is about changing things around you, and sometimes it's more valuable to change YOU...your approach, perspective, attitude, etc. while holding strong to values and goalposts.

Think about committing to one small change in your life (or career, business, relationship, etc.) so that you continue to adapt and grow. Keep things fresh and take time to reflect on your purpose and goals on a regular basis.
