Do you want to sleep better, feel more energized, have a little more pep in your step???
B12 may be your answer. Within a couple days of receiving a B12 injection, many of our clients report feeling an increase in their energy level, improved sleep, reduced allergy symptoms, and less frequent headaches. Did you know that B12 is one of the few vitamins not reliably absorbed, especially if you are vegan/vegetarian or take acid reducers or metformin? And if you have IBS or celiac you may not be absorbing this essential vitamin as well. Want to learn more or get started with B12? Book an appointment through our bio.site link or call 204-822-8077. See you soon. Cindy Fehr RN(NP)

Our skin is a reflection of everything going on inside our bodies and our minds...it reflects what you eat, drink, do, and feel.
There are things we can do to provide a foundation of health and stability that will help us weather the impacts we have less control on (hormones, pollution, pandemic stress, genetics) and their influence on our skin health. Glowing skin does not just come from skincare alone...you need to ensure a balanced diet, hydration, physical activity, and time to focus on mental & emotional health. Hydrate - drink around 8 glasses of water (or equivalent fluid) daily. Try natural flavors to enhance your cold or warm water. Eat Healthy - refrain from eating processed foods; replace refined carbs with veggies and fruits that are rich in antioxidants. Consider foods acting as pre, pro & post biotics to feed the healthy bacteria in the microbiome of our gut - fermented foods (kefir, yogurt, kimchi, sauerkraut), whole grains, antioxidants (blueberries, green tea, dark chocolate, red wine, olive oil), high-fiber foods (beans & lentils). Get your beauty sleep - it is true what they say...sleep is essential for beauty. Lack of sleep increases cortisol levels which impairs collagen stimulation. Embrace Au Naturale - makeup can block pores and contribute to acne breakouts and irritation with rosacea and eczema. Instead, embrace your natural beauty and opt for tinted moisturizer with SPF. Move - Regular exercise increases cellular metabolism and increases blood flow to help with your glow. All exercise is not created equal. Find a way to move that works for you…for 30 minutes three to four times per week. I love getting outside to soak up the sounds, feels, and be inspired by the natural beauty of nature. Protect your investment - don't forget to apply mineral based (zinc or titanium) SPF 30 or greater daily at minimum - every few hours is best. I love EltaMD & Alastin tinted sunblock. Don't forget to care for your mind - mental and emotional health are paramount for reducing stress that can wreck havoc on our hormones, immune system and digestive tract. So instead, practice stress reduction, breathing and mindfulness to reduce the impact of stress on your body, and ultimately reflected by the glow of your skin. Have a wonderfully rich day.
