Taking a day...or even just a part of a day is important to slow down, reflect, plan, and engage in self-care! Flying through each day, week, month...will not only contribute to burnout but can lead to knee-jerk reactions instead of planned growth. I have found this is true for business, education, and my personal life. While I don't necessarily have a detailed plan for everything, it is helpful to set short, medium and long-term goals to help us live with intention and focus. Is what you are choosing to do today (time, money, emotional investment, etc.) in line with your goals or is it going to take you further from those goals? Choose wisely as You Are Precious and Time Wasted Cannot Be Repeated...our hourglass never gets turned back over for more time so spend it wisely!
